File "MAMEHub.py", line 322, in connect AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'connStatus' This means the MAMEHub hosting service is not accepting connections (i.e. it's down). Unfortunately, this is not very intuitive to the end-user.

oh i also tryed to connect with the actual ip of the master server ( i can ping 10ghost.net and the ip succesfully...) Here's a timeline and explanation of what I believe occurred*: Sunday 12:00am (EST) | MAMEHub's hosting solution goes offline. (maintenance?) | Sunday 01:00am (EST) | MAMEHub's hosting solution is back online but without the MAMEHub service running. | Sunday 08:00pm (EST) | Digitalghost logs into the hosting solution and manually starts the MAMEHub service. | Sunday 08:00pm (EST) | MAMEHub is back online. |
The reason for the delay and for the requirement of manual intervention by Digitalghost is because the MAMEHub service is not crontabbed on the hosting solution. That means MAMEHub will not automatically start whenever the hosting solution box starts up. (Crontab is like autoexec.bat for DOS). See en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cron for more information on crontab. * Please provide any corrections if needed.

Is it possible for someone to setup a backup server?
With the same amount of activity, about how much bandwidth does a MAMEHub server require compared to a kaillera server?

Hey guys,
Sorry about that, the server was brought down for upgrades a couple of times and I hadn't written a script to bring MAMEHub back up automatically yet.
I"ll def. write a script so this doesn't happen again.
