Bug report - Static ping, stays at 100 all the time and lags Played a user called Swi, from France (new user).
Games Tested
Street Fighter 2 Super Street Fighter 2 Mortal Kombat 2
In all games, the ping was stuck at 100 constantly, and would never update and was getting quite a bit of lag.
I have seen this before with another user, very odd that it does not update ping value. Probably related to lag.

[...] In all games, the ping was stuck at 100 constantly, and would never update [...] Hopefully Digitalghost can weigh in on this but I'll take a stab at this. There's been 2 changes to the ping display (probably a few weeks ago). 1. The ping will show higher than normal at first. It's doing a worst-case type of measurement. It will settle down eventually. 2. The ping will never display below 100ms. There has always been a minimum 100ms forced delay in MAMEHub. The ping display now reflects this by never dropping below 100ms.

Why is there a 100ms forced delay ?
Do you mean that versus fighting game will not be playable smoothly ?

Why is there a 100ms forced delay ? Do you mean that versus fighting game will not be playable smoothly ? I was not aware of this change until yesterday. MAMEHub is working well in the main, better than it ever has done before, as i said on other post. So therefore, custom optimisations for fighter games, like the top 20, would be the way to go by the looks of it. Again, as i mentioned before. See here for my previous post on it. mamehub.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=comparewithotheremulators&action=display&thread=50
