All games that run on Seibu Kaihatsu's SPI hardware, which use the seibuspi.c driver in MAME, crash immediately upon loading in MAMEHub for Windows. Furthermore, testing with just the vmame.exe command line produces the same results; it has nothing to do with the MAMEHub GUI itself.
All these games have to build their NVRAM the first time they run. Building the NVRAM first in MAME 0.141 and moving it to MAMEHub's folder has no effect. These games all work fine, however, in MAMEHub for Linux.
One game, in particular, doesn't simply crash. Loading up the parent set for Raiden Fighters 2 (rdft2) results in a black screen where nothing happens. You can ESC out of this normally.

No indication is given for the crash in the MAMElog.txt. Here is an example:

An update: Since revision 53, I believe, several games have been listing an exception in the MAMEHub log after crashing. Here is an example of a couple.

Do these games work in regular mame?

Actually it looks like these games work in debug mode but not release mode.
Must be a memory initialization thing, I'll look into it.
