As logged on tracker under numerous tickets (building blocks of).
Involves a lot of extensive work, possibly too difficult to do.
Would be good though to give it professional features such as ones mentioned, and would make integrating into other FE's a lot easier.

The problem is, how do you send the command to make someone run MAME over IRC?

The problem is, how do you send the command to make someone run MAME over IRC? Noooooo, relates to MAMEhub only (not IRC). All related tickets ordered by implementation (treat as a seperate project in it's own right): BugTracker ID #17 - Remove 1st pop-up dialog on MAMEhub run BugTracker ID #27 - IRC Style - Improve routine when a user gets disconnected from MAMEhub BugTracker ID #28 - IRC Style - improve server connect routine (after Remove 1st pop-up dialog done) BugTracker ID #29 - mamehub exe login parameters BugTracker ID #30 - How the update system should eventually work Just thinking it would be a nice bonus to have MAMEhub function in a way like this in the future (only if it's possible/feasible to do), providing professional grade look and features, with logical functionality for other FE's linking to it via command line (#29). Also be handy for cabinet users, where they could assign a button to a pop-up command menu (e.g menu: /server /viewlog /quit /afk /voicechat). [long term thing / side project / wishlist]
