my friend just downloaded the 58mb 5.0a installer so we could play dig-dug together.. he is on metered verizon wireless internet.
after he finished downloading and installing the program, it started making him download 60 more megs, the same size as the already downloaded program, which he used a relative's connection to download because of his ultra-low bandwidth cap.
Either way, you may want to update the installer so people dont have to download 120 MB just to use your program, it's very redundant.

The problem is that if I do that, it makes it hard for me to push out new versions. Right now you download a version of the code, and then the first time you run, it updates to the latest version.

Right, I am on the same verizon bs wireless and thought the same thing but it only does that the first time or when something is updated. It's better than starting mamehub, it doesn't work, then go online and get update. Better to have it automated.
