As you know with the full set of bios files MAMEHub does the crashing thing and doesn't update. Can somebody help me out by telling me what all the .zips compatible with MAMEHub are. All the Arcades work fine getting the full 0.143 MAME bios set, it's the MESS compatibles I need the titles of as if I add the full Bios set the crashing happens. Once I get the full system list I should be ready to go again. Getting the systems from the hash files is of no use as some of the bios name it states do not exist or exist in a different name which is confusing for me plus some compatibles are missing from the hashes like SEGA CD. Looking forward to fixing my current problems for good by getting rid of what isn't compatible and keeping what is. Looking forward to your reply so I can set it up properly for the maximum online gaming quality experience in MAMEHub. That secret link doesn't work anymore neither unless it changed address which you can PM me with the new link if you like. That could have possibly helped me with this as I remember that everything were sorted by compatible and not compatibles on there last time I was able to get onto it.

My recommendation is to add bios roms manually, on a demand basis, from your MESS BIOS rom set to MAMEHub. I also recommend separate folders for each system. For example, mamehub\roms\snes for the snes bios + snes roms. MAMEHub does not search sub-folders recursively so they must be added to the MAMEHub audit paths individually. Look inside the file messROMs.xml inside mamehub\hash (the file is gzipped) to see what bios .zip you need from the MESS BIOS rom set. The reality is, we are still figuring out which systems work and which don't with MAMEHub. There is no clear-cut list of what is best to add to MAMEHub and what isn't yet. It is clear, however, that pointing MAMEHub to the entire MESS BIOS rom set is not a good idea. I'll have to look into that error you were experiencing and post an advisory.

That doesn't help much really. I'm finding it difficult to navigate.

As you know with the full set of bios files MAMEHub does the crashing thing and doesn't update. As discussed in the bug report section here, the issue is with fm16beta.zip and its description within messROMs.xml. The best solution is to not point MAMEHub to the complete MESS 0.143 BIOS ROM set. Doing so will generate a number of false matches which can be frustrating. Other workarounds can include: 1. removing fm16beta.zip from your MESS 0.143 BIOS ROM set (not recommended) 2. unzip messROMs.xml (its gzipped), fix the description for fm16beta and insert it back into the gz archive (located in mamehub\hash). Getting the systems from the hash files is of no use as some of the bios name it states do not exist or exist in a different name which is confusing for me plus some compatibles are missing from the hashes like SEGA CD. I agree. The hash files are for software, not BIOS files. The best resource to use is to unzip messROMs.xml.gz and look at the messROMs.xml file. Alternatively, you can try vmess.exe systemname -listxml (where systename is the name of the system, such as snes) Normally, the name of the bios .zip will be the same as the system name (such as snes.zip or snesdsp.zip). If there is no .zip name that matches the system name you're looking for then either the system does not need a BIOS or it is a clone of something else and you need that systems BIOS zip instead. Looking forward to fixing my current problems for good by getting rid of what isn't compatible and keeping what is. Looking forward to your reply so I can set it up properly for the maximum online gaming quality experience in MAMEHub. There is no specific compatibility list yet. We're still discovering what works and what doesn't. As for the online gaming quality experiences, it's only getting better... That secret link doesn't work anymore neither unless it changed address which you can PM me with the new link if you like. That could have possibly helped me with this as I remember that everything were sorted by compatible and not compatibles on there last time I was able to get onto it. Not sure what you're referring to here. Are you referring to an FTP site ? Can you be more specific? If not PM me any detail you remember and I'll see if I can remember.
