A couple days ago, I tried to open up MAMEHub and it brought up the updater window, which told me I was at the current revision. When it tried to open the MAMEHub window, it gave me an error window which told me to look at the log file. The log file (from what I could tell) had no indication of an error. I reinstalled MAMEHub and it worked for a day until the next time I tried to open it, at which time it gave me the same error upon start up.
Whenever I tried to open MAMEHub, it always took about 30 seconds between the updater and the opening of the actual program. I'm not sure if that's normal or not or if it has anything to do with this problem. I'm running Windows 7 and my ports are correctly set up. What's up wit dis?

What error message are you getting? Try turning your router on and off, that can sometimes help.

The log file it's asking you to look at is in the dist/ folder. It should be a .txt or .log file in that dir. Please copy the contents of that file and paste it in a reply. Thanks!

Ah ok. I'm not sure this is the right log, since I was messing around with some stuff in the MAMEHub folder hoping to fix it on my own, so it might have a different error than the one I was referring to earlier.

The problem is that you have non-ascii characters in your path or one of your rom names. Do you have japanese characters in your filesystem or something?
*EDIT*: I added non-ascii support, see if it works better for you now.

OK so it worked all of yesterday after reinstalling. I leave MAMEHub on to idle in the chat for the night and when I get home from work today I'm getting the same error again. Here's the new log:
PS: Thanks for trying to fix this for me.

What is your primary language?
It looks like you have non-ascii characters in your paths. If possible, put MAMEHub in a directory that doesn't have japanese/other characters.
